What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a Marketing funnel? Why should every marketer use one?

It's a strategy for marketing designed to attract potential customers to your site. It's a selling process where visitors come to your blog to seek information that could help solve a problem. With certain tools, you can learn how to develop a relationship and build trust with each user.

This will enable you to understand the customers' requirements. This will enable you to offer the best information to all your users. Once you gain the trust of a potential customer the person will be more comfortable purchasing products. The visitor becomes a customer.

At some point, many customers turn into very loyal customers who are ready to purchase just about every product that your website promotes. A marketing funnel outlines the steps involved in turning a visitor to your site into a client who will come back to you for future purchases.

For any internet marketer that is their final objective. This is possible with a well-designed funnel.

Your efforts to market are grabbing the attention of people, and bringing them to your funnel. When they fill out your PERSONAL form, they will be automatically entered the funnel. I say "personal" because nobody will ever opt-in on your business lead capture page. They want to be leaders, not a business.

The lead capture page is where they enter the funnel. If they click on the "Sign up Now" or "Enter here" buttons, they will be able to access a whole new universe of marketing through networks.

The most important thing is that they are qualified to do it. It is their decision. You've sold them nothing, other than your leadership qualities, a mentor, and as someone that can help them get more leads and more cash into their businesses.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

You can offer a free product to your "front-end" to draw and qualifie people interested in your offerings. To receive your product for free, join (also called opt-in), and provide your email address and name. Then, you will add them to your email list.

You can now include these contacts in your email lists so that you can send them any other offers that are relevant to them.

They'll be directed to the page with an offer for a lower price or a trip wire deal right after they sign up for the free offer. This is when they'll be taken to the "back-end" of your funnel.

They are taken to another related offer at less cost if they purchase the low-priced offer (also called an upsell). The person will also be transferred to the next product if they buy the same deal at a higher cost. This process can be repeated for a number of more.
